Especially rubber additives industry actively adjust the product structure, green environmental protection additives increased substantially, the proportion of excellent varieties of antiaging agent production has reached 80%, promoter up to 50%, toxic, harmful, high carcinogenic NOBS production has been effectively controlled; The comprehensive utilization rate of waste rubber reached over 65%, and the processing and utilization of recycled rubber and rubber powder expanded.

In 2006, the third council of the sixth session of the China Rubber Industry Association discussed, approved and issued the Opinions on the Scientific Development Plan of China rubber Industry during the eleventh Five-Year Plan period and the opinions on the implementation of famous brand strategic plan for the rubber industry during the eleventh five-year Plan period. This is the first industry plan organized by the association. The plan shows that the rubber industry should take the road of independent innovation during the eleventh five-year Plan period, and the whole industry should effectively turn into the track of scientific development, so that China will become a powerful country in the rubber industry in the world.

China's rubber industry has broad prospects for development. By 2010, the total consumption of natural rubber in China will reach 2.3 million tons. The product structure of rubber industry will have great changes, with the increase of new products and replacement products, the expansion of the application of new materials and new technologies, and obvious progress in production technology.

The characteristics of rubber industry determine that when a country's rubber industry mature, the industry's prosperity and the operation of the whole economy will maintain a strong correlation: the length of its development cycle and the length of the country's economic cycle, the trend is the same; But because the rubber industry belongs to the basic industry, its cycle change is slightly ahead of the economic cycle change. In addition, because the rubber industry is at the front of the production chain of the national economy, the amplitude of its cycle fluctuation is smaller than that of the industries at the end of the industrial chain, and also smaller than that of the whole economy. Therefore, from the perspective of industrial investment, the mature rubber industry is relatively close to the income investment industry.
